Cherta: This is the first festival of the year, which comes in the month of January. It is a children’s festival. Children go around the village, ask for cherta, and sing songs.

Bidri: This festival is celebrated in the month of Jeth.

Hareli: The Hareli festival is celebrated in the month of Sawan, at the beginning of the rainy season.

Pora / Gedi: This festival is celebrated in the month of Bhado.

Dasraha (Dussehra): This festival is celebrated in the month of Kunwar.

Dewari: This festival is celebrated in the month of Katik.
